Cesar Enrique's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy underwear.

Cesar Enrique's story

Rice is the main product sold in the Guale Parish in the Jipijapa region. The typical food here is rice with vegetables and grilled beef, corn tortilla, hallaca (tamales), corn humita, fish ball and roast beef and pork.

Cesar, 58, is in a relationship and has two children, an independent adult and a three-year-old. His wife is a homemaker and helps with sales. Cesar sells women's, men's and children's underwear and has been in business for 15 years, selling in Babahoyo, Santa Lucia, Pajan, Jipijapa, etc. He works three or four times a week from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. His wife goes along when he collects payment on Saturday and Sunday.

He will use the new loan to buy underwear. He has been in the loan group for 10 cycles and likes the fact that loan payments are every 15 days with low interest rates.

His dream is to have a shop and continue selling a variety of women's, men's and childrens underwear.
