Kijojo Tukwatanize Group's story

Resty lives in Kagadi, Uganda. She is 46 years old, married, and has six children. Resty has been operating a restaurant as her primary source of income for the past 10 years. She also engages in farming to supplement her income. Resty started her business so that she could earn money to educate her children. At the moment, she needs money to expand her restaurant and to also start a produce business.

Resty is a member of a group in which collateral is not required to access a loan, but a group guaranty agreement exists instead. She dreams of expanding her business and building a permanent house. Her major challenge is low customer turnout.
