Karyn's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped a baby clothing business to purchase materials and equipment so we can generate more Hey Baby Boutique inventory for local shops and pop-up events.
I grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, with no post office, one gas station, and no traffic lights. I moved back to my home town shortly after college and found that not much had changed. There still isn't a traffic light or a post office, but the town manages to thrive on its small business owners. This has been an inspiration to me and my business. I started my business years ago from a small desk in my living room. It has grown to the point where I sell online and in pop-up markets around the Pittsburgh region, I have a fresh new logo, and even design custom-made fabric. I am now a new mother to a 3-month old daughter. I would love to be able to run my business from home and care for her. Currently my husband and I both work full time, and the business is supplemental. We hope to change that. Further in the future, I hope to be able to open my own retail location and showcase other artists in it. In the meantime, it i important to me that I work to grow Hey Baby Boutique and make it as successful as possible. I want to show my daughter what strong, determined women can do.
