Claveles Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour and sugar in bulk.

Claveles Group's story

The Claveles communal bank will start its first cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Centro Focal Villa Tejada regional office. It is made up of eleven members and led by a board of directors with Marina as the president.

The loan they are taking out will benefit small micro-entrepreneurs where Marina is a member. She currently has a business selling baked goods (cakes, pastries, empanadas). She says that she learned this business on her own initiative several years ago.

This loan will be used to increase her capital to buy flour and sugar in bulk that she will obtain from wholesalers in the city of La Paz. She will then make and sell her goods at her sales site.

This type of work allows her to generate income to help her family financially. She is single and independent.
