Corina De Jesus's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Corina to buy raw cashew nuts at wholesale prices in order to process and distribute them to customers. The investment will allow her to save in the cost of raw material.

Corina De Jesus's story

Currently, Corina is single and lives with her small five year old son. She has no financial help from her relatives to pay for her needs and those of her son's.
As a responsible mother, she has had to look for an alternative to generate the income she needs to subsist, together with her son. This is how she now has her own business selling cashew nuts, besides butchering corral animals. This is a business she started six years ago, but that she carries out with more hard work after she became a mother.
She is requesting financial support to buy raw cashew nuts at wholesale prices in order to process and distribute them to her customers. By buying them in larger quantities and with cash, they will be less expensive which will give her a better margin of earnings. She hopes to fulfill the existing demand to satisfy the needs of her customers, and to have better income to reduce her household's needs.
Her goals are to be a sample of progress in her community and to be able to raise her son as a good person for society.
