Miranda Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy wax, clippers, polish, and other items to serve her customers.

Miranda Group's story

The Miranda group is made up of four women and has been a client of the Banco do Povo Crédito Solidário (BPCS) for one year.

They live and work in the Mauá region of São Paulo. Ellen sells clothing door-to-door. She needs the loan to buy blouses, trousers, and t-shirts for sale.

Maria makes salgados [typical stuffed snacks] at home and also works as a housekeeper. She needs the loan to buy flour, fillings, and sweets to create her products.

Maura makes cakes and salgados for parties and also needs a loan in order to produce her products such as sweets, fillings, dough, and sauces.

Beatriz is the group's leader. She is married, and her husband is currently unemployed. Beatriz works as a manicurist and also provides hair removal services. She supports her household and has her financial independence through this work. She needs the loan to buy wax, clippers, polish, and other supplies to serve her customers.

The group is pleased with the help from the investors. With it they can make plans for the future and replenish their merchandise.
