Sem's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers and plow the field.

Sem's Group's story

Sem, 35, is a married mother living with her dependent three children in a rural village of the Vel Veng district of Pursat province, Cambodia.

She earns a living through farming beans, and she has been in this farming for 11 years, earning about KHR 53,000 per day. She is able to save about KHR 25,000 each day after expenses for the future needs.

Sem has been a member of VisionFund for five cycles already and she completely repaid the past loans, which have helped her relieve her family’s financial burden and support her business. To better support her farming, she is now leading a group of five to seek a new loan.

She will use her portion to buy fertilizers and plow the field. She hopes this loan will enable her to harvest a good bean crop.
