A loan helped to expand her farmland to make it larger than before.

Sokha's story

Sokha is a 32-year-old woman living in a rural area of Preah Vihear province. She is a mother blessed with four children, three of whom are still studying in high school. She provides for the needs of her family via growing rice and cassava. Moreover, she is selling grocery items for additional income. She has been with her family’s business for many years, and it helps her to keep up saving about 5 USD per day.

This is Sokha's second microloan with VisionFund, and she repaid her last loan on time. She can update her family with decent household supplies through the previous loan. Sokha will spend her loan to expand her farmland to make it larger than before. She hopes that her farmland can produce a higher yield through this new loan.
