Pen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to support her cassava plantation.

Pen's story

Pen is a 34-year-old farmer who lives in the Neang Laeung Village, Ta Prok Commune, Chamkar Leu District, Kampong Cham Province. She is a mother of three children. Her husband helps support her career in order to improve the family's standard of living. Currently, they can make net income of approximately $7.50 (USD) per day.

Pen is making a decision to request a Kiva loan through KHL. She will use the loan to buy some cassava and to plow. This is her first loan cycle with Kiva, and she hopes that the loan will help improve her family's living conditions.

In the future, she wants to build a new house and own a grocery store. She would like to thank all of the lenders for their kind support in advance.
