Famille Chongera Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy coffee beans for resale, to pay for land rent, and to pay for manual labour during harvest.

Famille Chongera Group's story

Apollinaire has been a seasonal coffee vendor since 1992. Since the death of his wife, he has since remarried and became a full time coffee bean producer and vendor in 2000. He has since then been taking care of the growing and harvesting of coffee beans together with his wife.

Apart from running his own plantation, Apollinaire also rents producing fields to poorer coffee growers. He currently aims to buy a second mill for grinding soya, corn and sorghum. With access to more financial capital, Apollinaire also plans to sell his coffee to other neighboring villages. Appolinaire is pictured next to Sarah, his wife and member of the group.
