Rukshadbahen's story

Rukshadbahen is a 26-years-old hailing from the Surendranagar district of Gujarat. She lives with her husband and children. She wants to provide the best education to her children that she can afford. She is engaged in sewing saris, dupattas etc. and she does bandhani embroidery work. She wants to enhance her business with the profits and wants to fulfill her dream of giving proper education to her children.

She mainly sells saris and dupattas designed with bandhani works (a type of traditional Indian work). She would like to expand this business by selling more number of sarees on which this is done. Their effectiveness helps her to be successful in the business. There is intense competition in this business, thus she always buys stocks per the demand of her precious customers.

Now she needs to purchase more saris in varieties colors and quality and for this, she is seeking the loan of Rs. 25,000 from Prayas, partner of Milaap. She hopes the new inventory in her stock will enable her to have more customers. She will be ever grateful to her lenders for their financial support.
