Sreyneang Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase compost and to pay for plowing expenses.

Sreyneang Group's story

Sreyneang, 39, is married and has only one school-aged child. This family can earn around 11 USD per day from working together on the farm. She and her husband have been growing rice and other crops to support the family’s living for the past 20 years.

Sreyneang is the woman who stands first on the right. She is a group leader and applied for the loan in a group of five members. She will use her loan share to purchase compost and to pay for plowing expenses. She sees this purchase will allow her to cultivate rice in both dry and rainy seasons and increase her crop yields as well. With the profits from the season’s harvesting, she is going to expand her farmland, to build a new house, and support her child to get to college.
