Santos Milagro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy yuca, flour, salt, plantain, cabbage, corn, chicken, and seasonings, among other supplies to sell her snacks.

Santos Milagro's story

Santos is thirty-seven years old. She didn’t have the opportunity to attend school, but she learned to read and write through an adult education program. She has a partner who works as a bricklayer and plumber.

Santos makes a living selling snacks, such as enchiladas and fried yuca, among others. She works out of her home and previously she sold clothing. She has also begun to sell vegetables and other products that her customers look for. Little by little she is improving her life and expanding her business.

She needs this loan to buy yuca, flour, salt, plantain, cabbage, corn, chicken, and seasonings, among other supplies to sell her snacks. Over the last several years she has received six loans from Kiva, which have allowed her to continue forward with her work. She has already paid off all of them.

She hopes to continue winning customers and make her business more formal.
