Ndeye's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped purchase knit sheets.

Ndeye's Group's story

This 31-women group belongs to the village organization created in October 2012. It includes women who all get along well. Most of them work in retail or animal farming.

Ndeye, who is standing to the right with her hand raised in the photo, is our highlighted borrower. She is forty-four years old, married, and a mother of seven, including three boys. She has retailed bed sheets for five years.

With her new loan, she plans to purchase knit sheets from a market close to her village. She will then resell them.

With the profits, she intends to purchase food for her family, so she can help her husband pay for everyday expenses.
