Kenny Beatriz's story

Kenny is a single mother of two children. She lives in her own home with her mother and her children. Sometimes she receives economic support from her family members. She is a very responsible mother that needs to work in order to provide the daily sustenance for her children and also to care for her mother.

For four years she has been making a living selling roasted corn cobs. The business is located in front of a park in her community, which is an advantage for attracting new customers and thus generating enough income to live on. She works from Monday to Saturday on a schedule of three to five in the afternoon, or sometimes whatever is necessary to meet the demand.

With the loan, she will be able to buy supplies like corn cobs, chilis, and lime, among other materials to stock the inventory of her business. The investment with allow her to have the availability of the product in order to meet the demand of her customers, since at the moment this is not possible because she doesn't have the capital to buy the prime materials in bulk.

Her aspiration is to continue improving her business in order to have economic stability that at the same time will allow her to continue reducing the needs of her home and repaying the debt she has acquired.
