Swarnalata's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her dry food business by selling more papad, bori, etc.

Swarnalata's story

Forty-five-year-old Swarnalata, a married woman residing in a small village of Khurda district, Odisha, lives in a household comprising four members.

She is engaged in a dry food business. She makes papad (an Indian food product made from rice, pulses) and bori (Indian snack made from pulses) and sells them in the local market.

They presently have a monthly income of INR 20,000, and Swarnalata wants to expand her business. She does not have sufficient savings; hence she has applied for a loan of INR 20,000 from Mahashakti Foundation, one of Milaap's field partners.

Swarnalata and her family will be thankful to their lenders.
