I am endlessly inspired and excited by the concept of conscious commerce and social entrepreneurship. Coming from a long line of hard-working entrepreneurs who struggled to find financial success in their endeavors made me very motivated to demonstrate that it is possible run a socially responsible, purpose driven and profitable business. One that provides valuable goods and services, inspiring a culture of health and lifestyle that improves the experience of life for our employees and our community. As long as I can remember, I've had a strong interest in all areas of health and well-being including local food, plants, herbs, meditation and mindfulness, breathing, spending time in the outdoors, superfoods, clean beauty products, zero waste, etc. I volunteered 5 years of time on the board of our local farmers market to encourage more local food farming and production. My vision for Healthy Being Juicery & Cafe was fueled by these interests. My dream of creating a beautiful concept and space that encourages its employees and customers to thrive in life is being realized every day. What we offer is so much more than juice and food, these are catalysts leading to healthier choices in all areas of life, for our families, each other and our earth. As Healthy Being continues to grow and as a new mama to a one-year old boy, my interest in teaching/coaching is growing yet again. I find myself drawn to working with new mamas and new entrepreneurs seeking to create something beautiful and good. I look forward to sharing my Healthy Being success story as a business operating in conscious commerce, led by our core values with a strong purpose and a healthy quadruple bottom line.
