Khady's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chicks for poultry farming and food to sell breakfast.

Khady's Group's story

The Defar Jiguen group was created in March 2017. It brings together ten women who live near each other. They run businesses and animal farms.

Mrs. Khady, the star borrower, is 34 years old. She is a married mother of three, one of whom is a girl. Her eldest son is in CM2. Khady sells breakfast while also running the parallel business of poultry farming, in which she has 7 years of experience. In the photo, she is standing with her right hand raised.

Khady is going to stock up on ingredients for breakfast (milk, sugar, spaghetti,…) at the central market and sell from home.

With this loan, she envisions buying 50 chicks for 30,000F, three bags of food for 42,000F, and food products for 35,000F.

The profits will help ensure her children’s schooling and continue her businesses.
