Rima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her grocery store and buy canned food and detergent for it.

Rima's story

Rima, a 38-year-old woman, lives with her husband and three kids in an owned apartment in the Chouf area. Her two sons work and help with the expenses and she has a small daughter in school.

Her husband has his own retail work from which he is handling mainly the housing expenses.

Since 2012, this Lebanese woman established her own grocery store for selling fruits, vegetables, canned food, detergent, and home appliances. She is doing great in her job and her main concern to help her husband and sons with the expenses.

For the first time, Rima is asking for a loan from Ibdaa, a Kiva partner in Lebanon. She needs to expand her grocery store to attract more clients and to buy additional canned food and detergent for her grocery store to meet all her client's needs. In that way, Rima will be able to increase her income and her profit.
