A loan helped so she can open another gas filling stall in Kuwadzana suburb.

Tachiona Group's story

Rainah is a 47 year old mother of four children. She has a good tailoring business which she practises at home in Mufakose, Harare. The group has two ladies who practise cross border trading and a tuck shop business. The group successfully completed their fourth loan and once again have approached Thrive seeking for a fifth loan.
Rainah was given $600 on the previous loan in a bid to boost her business; she managed to open a gas filling stall near her homestead. Moreover she managed to increase her supply of dresses and suits to her church mates. Despite the economic hiccups faced by Zimbabwe she confesses that her business is growing at an appreciable rate.

She has taken a new loan of $600, so she can open another gas filling stall in Kuwadzana suburb. She also wants to focus on supplying her church with uniforms. The group members are grateful with the training they obtained from Thrive as it has elevated their business. There are keen entrepreneurs aiming to succeed.
