Botoncitos De Oro Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy canned goods on a wholesale basis.

Botoncitos De Oro Group's story

The communal bank “Botoncitos de Oro” ["Little Gold Buttons"] is initiating its first loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Senkata regional center. It is made up of nine members and led by a directive board, with Lourdes as the President.

The loan they are taking out will benefit small microentrepreneurs in the group where Lourdes is a member. Currently, her business is a neighborhood store. She reports that she learned this business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan she is taking out will be used to increase her capital, by purchasing canned goods on a wholesale basis. She will acquire them from the wholesale vendors of the city of La Paz, and later she will sell them in her sales space. This manner of working allows her to generate resources to help her family economically, since she is single and has one child.
