but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Earstorms fund our first production run of our highly anticipated headphone line.

Gilbert's story

Headphones for Healing: The Story of Earstorms Headphones His 10-year-old daughter had always been a thin girl, but when the family arrived in the emergency room one night in the Fall of 2014, Gil Ford was told his beloved daughter should be dead. “The doctor said her hemoglobin level was 3.9, where most people’s is supposed to be around 10 to 12. He said most people with a hemoglobin level as low as our daughter’s don’t walk into a hospital because they don’t walk at all - they just keel over and die,” In shock and afraid for his daughter’s life, Ford left his family at Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital to go home and get supplies. Ford returned with clothes and personal items, as well as her iPad and headphones, Several blood transfusions were needed to bring her hemoglobin to a stable level, it was then determined his daughter was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, which is a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes inflammation and ulcers in the colon. “Being able to listen to music made me happy and made being in the hospital less horrible,” she said. “Listening to music made it better - especially when they were poking me with so many needles.” I took my feedback from several years in the audio industry and did exactly what my customers demanded, I made them lightweight, durable, comfortable and affordable. I am not a rap mogul or musician, just a normal guy who is passionate about the product, and wanted to create the ultimate headphone line that everyone would love. You can almost say this is a product built for you, by you.
