Filomina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to construct a large shop to accommodate her business.

Filomina's story

Filomina is a 29-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her two children in Gokwe South district in Zimbabwe. She runs her own fruit shop in order to pay school fees for her children and support her family.

Filomina is now requesting a Kiva loan in order to construct a large shop to accommodate her business. She plans to use the profits to diversify her business by acquiring a liquor license and starting a wine shop.

Filomina will repay the "social interest" on her loan by volunteering 2.5 hours weekly as a Camfed Learner Guide leading life skills sessions covering active citizenship and personal confidence with students at her local secondary school.
