Sophea Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase fertilizer and to pay for plowing costs.

Sophea Group's story

Sophea, 47, is a married mother of two children who lives in the village of Prey Veng province, Cambodia. She has been working together with her husband in cultivating rice, cassava, and other crop yields to earn income for supporting the family’s life expenses since 1990. This couple typically makes around 14 USD per day.

With the group of two members represented by Sophea, who appears the first on the right, she would like to use her loan share to purchase fertilizer and to pay for plowing costs. She thinks that this purchase will allow her to increase her crop yields and better support her family's profits.

In the future, she is going to raise animals, to renovate her house, and help her children to get a higher education.
