Sarom's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a decent motorcycle to transport her rice to sell in the market on time.

Sarom's Group's story

A local farmer from Kandal Province, Sarom is 63 years old and a mother of two dependent children. Nowadays, she can earn income to support her family via rice farming, with snack selling in her village as supplementary income. She has been involved with her businesses for ages, and they enable her to have decent savings from her income for future needs. Because insects destroyed her farmland, she could not get a good yield this year.

This is Sarom’s ninth microloan with VisionFund, and she repaid her past loans on time. Her family’s standard of living improved thanks to her previous loans, so she has decent household items. In a group of two members, she is the group leader applying for this new loan.

Sarom will spend her entire loan portion to buy a decent motorcycle as transportation for her businesses. She hopes that her rice will grow better than before and that her selling business will run smoothly, providing a good income to update her lifestyle for the future.
