Autenticas De Romel Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy meat, potatoes, hominy and oil wholesale.

Autenticas De Romel Group's story

The “Auténticas de Romel” loan group is starting its fourth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata focus area. It's made up of nine members and directed by a board, where Martha is the president.

The loan they take out will benefit small microbusinesses where Martha is a member. Right now, she has a business selling food, a business she learned through her own initiative several years ago.

The loan she's now taking out will be to increase her capital, buying meat, potatoes, hominy and oil wholesale, which she will buy from larger vendors in the city of La Paz. She will later make and sell them in her business.

This form of work allows her to generate income to support her family economically, as she has a partner and four children.
