Allieu Badara's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase more malaria drugs, blood tonic, and cosmetics.

Allieu Badara's story

Allieu Badara is a 38-year-old man and single with three children between the ages of 3 and 16 years. He runs a pharmacy store in OIC Ropolo.

Allieu Badara has been in this business for five years and sells paracetamol (acetaminophen), Miratone syrup malaria drugs, blood tonic, infant syrups, test kits, appetites syrup, and cosmetics at his store. He says that his main challenges to his business are shortage of some drugs at a time and the increase in dollar rate to local currency.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more malaria drugs, blood tonic, and cosmetics. Allieu Badara says that the extra income from this loan will help him to educate his children. In the future, he would like to expand his business to a big clinic level. He thanks BRAC and Kiva for their support.
