A loan helped to purchase sheep to resell.

Bodjinadjiriyama Group's story

Aminata is the woman holding the sheep in the photo. She is 38, married, and the mother of eight children (six girls and two boys), of whom only one girl is in school. Aminata is Malian, and her husband is a farmer. She is illiterate and has been raising livestock for six years.

Having limited financing, she just took out a loan from RMCR with the aim of increasing her business volume. She wants to purchase more sheep and sell more in order to increase her revenues. She could then cover a few day-to-day expenses of the children and really support her daughter’s education, as well as help the other children to succeed.

In the livestock business, she is often confronted with sheep diseases and brutal losses. These days, her ambition is to be financially independent in order to be a good mother for her children.
