Antonia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chicken manure and seed potatoes to increase production, thus improving her standard of living and the family's experience.

Antonia's story

Antonia is 62 years old and works daily at farming activities. She is married and lives together with her husband and two children. She only managed to attend primary school due to a lack of economic resources.

She lives in a rustic home constructed of local materials; the house does have basic services such as electricity and water. The home is located in the community of Zapata Rancho in the province of Tiraque.

She makes a living by farming, producing early season potatoes, green beans and oats (fodder). All of these crops are raised on an area of approximately 5 hectares. By rotating crops, the plot of land is irrigated, since it was affected by flooding.

Antonia needs a loan in order to buy organic fertilizer (chicken manure) and seed potatoes, in order to increase production, which will improve her standard of living and thus improve her family's experience.
