Sokchea's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to hire farmland in order to grow beans, which she hopes will produce a good yield this year.

Sokchea's Group's story

Sokchea is a resident who is living in a remote area of Mondulkiri Province. She is 47 years old and has six children. Two of her children are in school and need her support. Nowadays, she earns a living by growing beans, which she has been engaged in around 10 years. Sometimes she works as a paid worker to earn additional income.

She is a second cycle client with VisionFund. The first loan, which she already paid back, has changed her family’s situation to be better, with enough food and clothes. As a leader of a four-members group, Sokchea is going to take her loan portion to hire farmland in order to grow beans, which she hopes will produce a good yield this year.

Through this kind loan, she hopes to improve both of her business and lifestyle, better than before.
