Nakato Hamidah's story

46 year old Hamidah is a hard working woman, single mother of 4 and she resides in Hoima Uganda. For the last 10 years, she has been involved in shoe and metal cases selling. She started by selling snacks such as chapaties, cassava, pan cakes and using the proceeds from that business she started up a new business with the aim of increasing on her income so as to raise school for her children. She has a dream of constructing a school as well as educate he children up to university. Despite of the seasonality nature of the business, she say the business is profitable and as a single mother she has been able to provide for her children. Hamidah is requesting for a loan facility to buy more shoes to sell during this Easter season.
