Divina's story

Divina A. is engaged in a general store business. Her husband Roger is a farmer in their village of Catabban Burgos, Isabela. They have three children to whom they give their full support for a brighter future. Two of her children have already finished college and now have their own jobs. Truly, hard work and patience pays, said Divina. Divina is hoping that her youngest child, who is currently studying, will also finish his studies if she works hard and perseveres in her business development.

Divina is requesting a loan from Kiva amounting to PHP10,000 as additional business capital. She will use the loan to purchase more merchandise for her retail business, such as canned and bottled goods, soaps, shampoo, breads, biscuits, kitchen commodities, etc. She hope to further increase her daily income from the business.
