Multan, Punjab, Pakistan / Agriculture

Nadia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in her milk sales business by buying a buffalo.

Nadia's story

Nadia is a 31 year old woman and the mother of four children. She lives in her own house with her spouse in a village in the area of Multan, Pakistan. Her husband has a livestock business. Three years ago Nadia started running a milk sales business. With what she makes from her income, she manages to afford the household expenses. She wants to purchase a buffalo and wants to increase her revenue, but due to insufficient financial means, she is unable to purchase a buffalo.

To fulfill this need, Nadia is asking once again for a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan. With the addition of her cash in hand to loan, she can purchase a buffalo for her milk sales business in order to increase revenue. This is her seventh time loan cycle with BRAC Pakistan.

Nadia is thankful to Kiva, lenders, and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
