Achocalla Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothing wholesale.

Achocalla Group's story

The “Achocalla” communal bank will begin their first cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Senkata Centre. The group consists of nine members and is led by a board of directors of which Karina is the President. The loan they are going to take out will benefit small micro businesswomen including Karina. She currently has a business selling clothing and says she learnt this business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan she is taking out is to increase capital to buy wholesale clothing, which she will get from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. She will then sell it in her sales area. This kind of work allows her to generate an income to support her family financially, as she lives with a partner and has a son.
