Ana Ruth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothing and footwear to diversify and continue to sell.

Ana Ruth's story

Ana studied up to Grade 7 in school. She couldn't continue as she had to go out and work with her mother. She is the single mother of 3 children. Two of them are studying.

Ana has been making a living selling clothing for two years. She learned this from family members. She also does domestic work like washing and ironing clothing for people. She goes out 4 times a week to sell clothing door-to-door. She gets up at 5 am to prepare uniforms and breakfast for her children. She then goes out to sell and finishes work at 2 pm.

She will use the loan to buy clothing and footwear to diversify and continue selling. She is a single mother and through her earnings she manages to get ahead with her children.

Ana's dream is to improve her house and for her children to study at university.
