Saruob's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more grocery items to sell, such as snacks, mill, beverages, and spices, which she hopes will attract more customers.

Saruob's story

Saruob is a rice farmer and has been growing rice for 15 years in the Srey Snom district of Siem Reap province. She is 39 years old and has three dependent children, only one of whom is studying. She also sells grocery items, which is her secondary source of income to sustain her family’s lifestyle. She is able to save up to 4 USD each day from these businesses.

She still needs additional capital to add more stock for resale. Therefore, she is borrowing this first loan to purchase extra grocery items to sell, such as snacks, mill, beverages, and spices, which she hopes will attract more customers.

In the future, she wishes to increase her family’s finances and be able to save for future needs.
