Willan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped a borrower to purchase fertilizer for the second fertilizing of his coffee crop and to pay his laborers for weeding.

Willan's story

Willan is 28-years old. He lives with his wife and two children in the El Corazón village of Chirinos District, San Ignacio, Perú. He makes his living in agriculture growing coffee. With his wife's help, they are getting ahead.

Willan has two hectares of coffee. He and his wife work on his farmland. They also raise small animals for their own consumption, like chickens and guinea pigs. Thanks to their coffee harvest, Willian is able to support the heart of his home.

Willan's dream is to support his son by providing him with a good education. He wants to offer his son the education his parents never gave him. In order to do this, Willan needs to harvest more coffee so he can earn a larger income to be used for his children's educations.

In order to increase production, Willan needs to fertilize his coffee crop and provide better maintainence. He needs the loan to adequately carry out his farm work.

Willan has shown himself to be responsible in Nornadino, the communal bank. He is aware that being responsible will earn him better opportunities to improve his standard of living and for his household to have a better quality of life.
