Ariana Raquel's story

In the place called San Isidro in the town of Bahía de Caráquez, people earn a living through agriculture and livestock production, of which 68% of inhabitants earn a living through production and sale of milk. There also exists a dairy production plant and in agriculture coffee, cocoa and passion fruit products.

Ariana is 18 years old and in a common-law marriage with no children at the moment. Her partner is an agricultural engineer.

To obtain her own resources and be able to help her spouse with the household costs, Ariana earns a living through selling Oriflame, Esenciales (beauty and cosmetic products, perfume and accessories for women) and Joya's products from catalogues (assorted jewellery). She works for three days a week, two to three hours per day, she leaves her products on loan and takes payment weekly. She has earned a living through this work for a year and it is going very well.

With this new loan she will put a shop in her home and buy rice, sugar, oils, tuna, sardines, colas etc. She has been in the loan group for 2 cycles and she likes it because they are fast and low in interest. Her dream is to have a very large shop with a lot of products.
