Sarah's story

My aunt Jane was one of the most important people in my life. When she passed away, I wanted to do something to honor her memory. In fall of 2015 I started creating Bella Donna and had to put aside my dream of brining it to life when I got diagnosis with Ovarian Cancer. Now that I have gone through that journey, embraced the lessons that I believe I needed to learn in order to survive, I want to empower women to get out and embrace life and embrace their body. I want to grow this business into a full swimwear line, including cover ups etc and then turn the business into a trunk show model so that these women not only have a place in comfort to try on the line but to then provide a source of income for those women who need/want it. When I was 23, I started and grew a successful company that I owned for 17 years. I eventually closed that company when the economy shifted, realizing it was time to move on to a new venture. Bella Donna is the new venture.
