G.s. La Rosa 1 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers and to give maintenance to his crops of pineapples, vegetables and basic grains.

G.s. La Rosa 1 Group's story

Jose is 64 years old. He is single, has four children and lives alone in a village that belongs to the municipality of San Pedro Sula, Cortes. Previously, Jose worked in commerce and construction, and it has been more than three years that he works cultivating pineapples, corn, beans and vegetables, crops that he has in his own land. He sells this production at the local market.
The loan he is requesting as a group is in its third loan cycle in the institution and it is to buy fertilizers and give maintenance to his crops. His goal is to improve his quality of life and leave his children a work heritage. The group is called G.S La Rosa 1, formed by 3 members who live in the same community and work farming pineapples, vegetables and basic grains. The group loan is for 45,000 Lempiras and will be used to buy fertilizers and give maintenance to his crops. On the photo from left to right are Rolando, Oscar and Jose.
