Yasmeen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy additional stationery items such as pens, pencils, erasers, to sell at her store and enhance her business.

Yasmeen's story

Yasmeen is 43 years old, a married women and the mother of four children living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan.

She has been running a general store for many years nearby her house, and the business is operating very well. From the income, she's able to feed her family members.

She has been running this small general store for five years and it is situated in a populated area. There is a lot of customers available here to buy miscellaneous general items.

She wants to offer various products necessary and consumable for daily usage, so she wants to offer stationery items such as copies, pencils, pens, led pencils, erasers, etc. Yasmeen's major problem is shortage of funds, therefore she requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan to buy additional stationery items so she can enhance her business.

She is very glad for this loan and hopeful that she will be able to fulfill each request of her customers. Yasmeen is very thankful to Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan.
