Djamako Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy sheep, raise them, then sell them.
Djamako Group's story
Bagnô is the one with her hand on the sheep. She lives in a rural commune in Mali with her husband, an ex-plumber with the energy of Mali in retirement and now farmer, and their four children between the ages of 23 and 16, who all are literate. Bagnô is a literate businesswoman and livestock breeder. She has been in this line of work for 10 years and wishes to become a great supplier of various products in her area and later to have many oxen. In order to achieve this objective, she has sought to make use of the RMCR loan to buy cattle and other products from the local market and resell them at the markets in her zone during fairs. This allows her to generate a profit of 35,000 f per head after the fattening period. The only difficulty in her business is the sudden rise in prices of cattle feed.
