San Gabriel Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase bags and seeds, used to sow 1,000 coffee plants and to purchase fertilizers to provide maintenance to 3,000 coffee plants.

San Gabriel Group's story

Maribel is 26 years old. She lives with her husband and their two children, who are 1 and 5 years old. Her oldest child attends school. She is a young woman with a great desire to get ahead. The last few years, she has worked a lot with her husband to provide for her family.

When she began the business, her coffee-growing area was .25 mz, with 1,000 plants that produced 8 quintals of coffee. Currently, her area has grown to .75 mz, which now produces 25 quintals. She is requesting her second loan to prepare 1,000 coffee plants and to sow them. At the same time, she wants to maintain 3,000 productive plants.

Thanks to her first loan, she has been able to give agricultural maintenance to her plantation. From the profits made, she already has a home to live in, a very humble home, but her own.

In the future, she wants to purchase more land to increase her coffee-growing area. It is an activity that is profitable for her family. This is how they can sustain their home expenses.
