A loan helped to buy pigs.

Gs. El Cerro #1 Group's story

Gelmy is an enterprising and responsible woman. She lives with her husband and their children in the very productive community of Choluteca in southern Honduras.

She has worked buying and butchering pigs for various years. She also makes and sells tortillas. Most of her clients are neighbors from her community and people who travel through the area. She also sells to people who have restaurants in the town of Marcovia. She has the support of her husband and children.

This time, Gelmy is requesting a loan to buy pigs. She, together with her husband and children, take advantage of the weekends to obtain better sales when there is more movement, and sales are good.

Her dream is that her children study and manage to become professionals, and that way are able to have better opportunities in life.

Gelmy is requesting this loan as a group loan with Nerhy. She has worked making and selling tortillas for five years.
