Ah Kei Gyi – 2 (A) Village Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more ducklings and expand his duck farm.

Ah Kei Gyi – 2 (A) Village Group's story

The featured borrower, Sein (first from the right), is 53 years old and married. He is a very active community leader in the village. His family has been farming for generations. Sein farms on his two acre farmland. He has been raising ducks for seven years and he is happy because it generates daily income.

This funding will be beneficial to Sein’s business, as he does not need to take a loan with a high interest rate elsewhere. It will also help him purchase the necessary duck feed such as grain and shrimp. These inputs are vital for healthy egg production.

From the profits generated from the loan, he is planning to buy more ducklings and expand his duck farm.
