Suchitra's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to expand her toy making business by purchasing more raw materials to create more varieties of toys for sale in the local market.
Suchitra, a 29-year-old woman who is a native of the district of Khurda in Odisha, runs a toy business. She makes toys and sells them in the local market to earn her daily bread. She earns around 2,000 INR from this business. But this income is not enough to cover the growing expenses of her family that consists of her husband and two of her children, who read in school in different classes. Hence, she wishes to expand her business by purchasing more raw materials from the wholesale market and making more toys for sale to increase profits. For this, she requires a loan amount of 14,000 INR from Mahashakto Foundation, a field partner of Milaap. She is thankful to her lenders who have provided her family with this loan assistance.
