Ndoulo Group's story
This group of 16 members belongs to the banc villageois which was created in October 2007. It is made up of very united women who work mainly in small trade and livestock fattening. Awa, who is standing on the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the star borrower. She is 38, and married with five children of whom one girl. She works in livestock fattening and has much experience in this field. With her new loan, she plans to buy three sheep that she will fatten up and resell after five months. She will use the remainder of the loan to buy animal feed. With the profits, she plans to buy school materials and clothes for her children.
