Georgina's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy spices, palm nuts, and flour to sell.

Georgina's story

Georgina is 60 years old. She is married and has four children between the ages of 22 and 40. She sells spices, palm nuts, and flour at Makola and also sells drinks and some of the food items at her residence at Glefe. She has employed three people in the community to help her with sales and has been running this business for the past 20 years. Georgina is very hardworking and has a cheerful personality.

With this loan, Georgina will be able to buy more spices, palm nuts, and flour to sell. She is hopeful that in five years time she will become a supplier and supply flour to schools, restaurants, and hospitals. With the extra income from this loan, she hopes to cater for her younger children and grandchildren.

This is Georgina's second loan. She completed the first loan in December 2016. She has a very good repayment history and will be able to pay this loan without any difficulty.

Thank you to Kiva lenders for supporting Georgina’s business!
