Rebecca's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more oil, pepper, rice, and bitterballs (a vegetable) to sell.

Rebecca's story

Rebecca, 29 and single, has three children, ages 6 to 12. She went to school through 9th grade and earns her living by selling oil, pepper, rice, and bitterballs. She has run this business for three years.

Rebecca initially learned to sell from her mother and received the initial capital to start her business from her mother. Rebecca enjoys supporting herself and her children through her business and describes herself as a hardworking businesswoman, often spending from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day at her business.

Rebecca plans to use her Kiva loan to buy more oil, pepper, rice, and bitterballs to expand her business. In the future, she hopes to build more houses for herself and her children and expand her business.

She wishes to say thank you to all of the people lending her money.
