A loan helped to purchase 4 sheep.

Ngone's Group's story

This group of seven members is part of the 'banc villageois' that was created in December 2010. It is composed of women with a lot of solidarity who are active mainly in livestock farming. NOGOYE, who is standing at the right with a hand raised, is the featured borrower. She is 45 years old, married, and the mother of nine children, including two girls. For years, she has been active in raising livestock in collaboration with her husband.

With her new loan, she intends to purchase 4 sheep that she will fatten and then resell. The rest of the loan will be used to purchase vaccines and animal feed. With the profits, she envisions saving money in the 'banc villageois' and buying food for her family.
